Well, tomorrow, May 21, 2011, is supposed to be the end of the world. Wait, I thought the Mayans said it was supposed to be December 21, 2012? Either way, it gets a lot of publicity. Judgement Day is coming May 21st, 2011

Don’t Expect Google Chrome OS on Tablets Anytime Soon

Despite recent indications that Google is preparing Chrome OS for tablets, Google says that it is “fully focused on notebooks” for the foreseeable future.

When Google announced the OS, all they had to demonstrate the truest form of Chrome OS on was their CR-48 reference prototype, which was never intended for sale. It was attractively minimal, but didn’t pack much of a punch when it came to its guts. Acer and Samsung have stepped in to solve this problem.

When asked about Google’s future plans for Chrome OS beyond the notebook, Google SVP of Chrome Sundar Pichai said that Chrome OS is “agnostic” to the hardware it runs on. In other words, Chrome OS can easily be ported to tablets, desktops and other Internet-connected devices.

10 Things Parents Can Stop Doing Now if World is End

If the apocalypse is coming, I still haven’t written that book, visited Spain, or bought that little farm in the middle of nowhere, but two weeks isn’t enough time to get them done….unless Camping declares a new end of the world on May 21. Then, for sure I’ll get cracking.

So I’ve compiled a small list of what parents can stop doing if it’s all over on May 21:

1. Cleaning the house: finally a reason to let things slide! The same goes for the basement, garage, and attic.
2. Saving for college.
3. Getting the yard and pool ready for summer. Geez, no more mosquitoes actually sounds good.
4. Telling your kids to study, floss, and make their bed.
5. Enforcing bedtimes.

Three meetings include Political Security Community Council meeting of ASEAN foreign ministers meeting of ASEAN and the ASEAN Coordinating Council.

The core discussion of the ASEAN Summit preparations, Saturday-Sunday, to discuss issues of mutual concern, said Minister of Foreign Affairs Marty Natalegawa in a press conference at the ASEAN summit meeting, the JCC, Jakarta, Friday (6/5/2011).

Turns out Uncle MO was dealing with a gastrointestinal infection that's required antibiotics and slowed his training ahead of the grueling derby at Churchill Downs. Because of the infection, and less than 100 percent health, there's about a 50-50 chance Mo may never get out of the gates in Saturday's 2011 Kentucky Derby. And if he does, nobody has a clue whether he'll be fit enough to mount a serious challenge.

Sony had no choice to take the service offline, and now all we want to know is when will they be restoring PSN back up online? Sony’s answers to subcommittee have now been published on their official PlayStation Blog, which is after the company has come under some harsh criticism.

PlayStation chief Kazuo Hirai told Congress in a letter that the company was a victim of a sophisticated attack. As part of the hack, a file was planted on the company's servers named "Anonymous" with the words "We Are Legion." He said the company understood the full scope of the attack by April 25, but could not rule out the compromising of credit card data.

Wife and Son Osama Arrested

slamabad - Two wives and four children helped Osama bin Laden were arrested after Osama was killed in a raid on a mansion in the city of Abbottabad, 120 km from the capital city of Pakistan, Islamabad.

As quoted by The Hindu from a local media on Monday (02/05/2011), two women and four children are believed to be Osama's wives and offspring. They were taken away from the house like a fortress where leader Al Qaeda was raided. However, not known to authorities who arrested them.

Pakistani troops have sealed off the compound and block the road to the site. A resident Osama Bin Laden around the state house that was ambushed was bought by someone named Arshad Khan and believed to come from Charsadda, a region in Khyber tribal region-Pakhtunkhwa.
